Minnesota representative Michele Bachmann has recently been in the news for launching her official 2012 presidential campaign, as well as for her unapproved use of certain songs on her campaign trail.
On Tuesday, Tom Petty issued a cease and desist letter to Bachmann after he learned of her use of his song “American Girl” during rallies. On Wednesday, Bachman reportedly switched her song to Katrina & the Waves’ “Walking On Sunshine,” but they aren’t too happy about it, either.
There’s only one solution to this problem: Create a playlist of songs for Michele to use at her rallies. I’m sure the artists would have no problem lending her these tunes:
“Why Doesn’t Anybody Like Me” – No Use For a Name
“The Bitch is Back” – Elton John
“Armed & Dangerous” – Anthrax
“Strange Cup of Tea” – Sister Hazel
“Witchy Woman” – The Eagles
“Cold Hard Bitch” – Jet
“Everybody Hates Me” – Tim McGraw
“Liar” – Built To Spill
