Song of the Day: “Champagne Supernova” – Oasis

Oasis released “Champagne Supernova” as a single in 1996, and if you know anything about Oasis in the mid-to-late-90s, you’d know that people went bonkers over it.

Today’s “Song of the Day” feature is a little different because I’ve thrown in a few cover versions of the song from YouTube. You’ll probably recognize the first two artists, but not the third, and the last video is the original tune itself, so you can see if the cover versions held their weight or not.

If you’re not a big Oasis guy or gal, that’s fine, I don’t obsess over them either, but it’s nearly a fact that they made some great songs in their sparkling career. This is one of their catchiest.
