Pixies Announce “Lost Cities” Tour, Possible New Album

1980s indie heavyweight Pixies are extending their Doolittle tour into the fall with some extra dates to reach the cities they passed over during their entire career.

Pixies are contemplating a new album for the first time since their reformation in 2004.

That’s just the small news, though: Since the band reformed in 2004, fans have clamored ceaselessly for a new album, and it seems as if the group might be caving in. “It’s definitely a stronger possibility than it was a few years ago,” said drummer David Lovering, “we’re gonna go slowly and see what will happen.”

Here are the extra tour dates:
