I’ve never been much of a Blink-182 fan. It’s probably because I don’t delve much into the whiny voice pop/punk scene, which, of course, is a perfectly fine scene, but I just haven’t spent that much time there since 4th grade.
Taste aside, the dudes from Blink have come forth with new music for the first time in eight years, and that alone is reason for celebration among fans. After all, I’m still waiting for the respective 11-year and 15-year droughts of Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden to end.
So, is “Up All Night” the oasis you’ve been looking for? Listen to the embedded vid below and decide for yourself. Oh, and the new album, Neighborhoods, is scheduled to drop September 27.
